Refund Policy
At Central Global University, we prioritize transparency and fairness in all financial matters. This refund policy outlines the conditions under which tuition and associated fees may be refunded, along with the official procedures for requesting such refunds.
1. Initial Deposit and First Installment: To confirm admission into any academic program at Central Global University, students are required to pay an initial deposit along with the first installment of their tuition fees. This amount will be adjusted against the total program fee upon successful visa approval for international students, where applicable.
In the event that a visa application is denied, the initial deposit will be refunded in accordance with the university’s refund procedure.
2. Student Withdrawal: If a student voluntarily withdraws from the program after their visa has been approved or after commencement of studies, no refund of the initial deposit, tuition fee installment, or any other fee paid will be granted.
3. Visa Rejection: If a visa application is denied due to the submission of fraudulent documents, misrepresentation of information, or any form of malpractice, no refund will be provided under any circumstances.
4. Malpractice or Legal Violations: Should a student be involved in any criminal offense, legal misconduct, or violation of local laws in the host country, Central Global University shall not be responsible for issuing any refund of tuition fees, deposits, or related charges.
5. Refund Request Procedure
- Submission of Request: Students seeking a refund must submit a formal, written application addressed to the university administration, clearly stating the reason for the request and enclosing all necessary supporting documentation.
- Request Review: The university administration will review the request within 14 business days. Additional documentation may be requested to support the application during this period.
- Notification of Decision: The student will receive a formal written notification of the final decision regarding the refund application. If approved, the refund will be processed within 30 business days from the date of notification.
- Mode of Refund: Approved refunds will be processed through the original mode of payment wherever possible. If not feasible, an alternative payment method will be discussed and confirmed with the student.
6. Additional Terms and Conditions
- Policy Revisions: Central Global University reserves the right to amend its withdrawal and refund policies at its sole discretion. Refund requests arising from misunderstandings of policy, missed deadlines, or administrative procedures will not be entertained.
- Bank and Transaction Charges: Any applicable bank fees or transaction handling charges will be deducted from the total refundable amount.
- Special Cases: In instances of medical withdrawals or legitimate personal emergencies, students must complete the official Withdrawal Form available through the university and submit all relevant supporting documentation. Upon approval, an “Incomplete” (I) grade may be recorded, and the student may be placed on academic hold until they are fit to resume their studies. If a medical withdrawal request is declined, a late withdrawal may still be processed with a “Withdrawal” (W) grade if justified.
- Academic Dishonesty: Cases involving academic dishonesty will be reviewed by the academic department and the university’s Disciplinary Committee. Decisions regarding academic standing and refund eligibility in such cases will be final and at the sole discretion of Central Global University.
Note: Refunds will only be processed under the circumstances outlined in this policy. No refund requests falling outside these provisions will be considered. All students are strongly advised to thoroughly review and fully understand this policy before proceeding with enrollment.
