His early schooling at SRJK (C) Naam Kheung laid a robust foundational learning across core subjects and languages. He continued to the prestigious Victoria Institution for secondary education, building the groundwork for a lifelong devotion to teaching and scholarship.
At Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Dr. Wong earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science with First Class Honours—highlighting his academic excellence and commitment to scientific inquiry. He is also advancing his studies with a Master’s in Teaching and Learning at Taylor’s University—signaling his dedication to refining his pedagogical approach.

For over 15 years, Dr. Wong—affectionately known as “Teacher Yoong”—has served as co-founder, director, and senior tutor at Pusat Tuisyen Mercu Dinamik in Selangor. He specializes in teaching Mathematics, Science, Chemistry, Biology, and English with a visionary approach that embraces inclusivity and innovation.
Dr. Wong pioneered the adoption of a HyFlex learning model—combining online instruction, face-to-face engagement, and offline resources—to create inclusive, adaptive, and accessible learning environments.
