Purpose of the Policy

This Diversity Policy aims to:

  • Promote an academic and campus culture of mutual respect, understanding, and inclusion
  • Ensure equal opportunity and fair treatment for all members of the university community
  • Encourage the active participation of underrepresented and marginalized groups in educational, leadership, and professional opportunities
  • Address and prevent discrimination, bias, and exclusion based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, age, ability, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, or other personal characteristics

Scope of the Policy

This policy applies to:

  • All students, faculty, staff, administrators, and governing bodies of Central Global University
  • Visitors, contractors, and external organizations associated with the university
  • All university campuses, facilities, virtual platforms, and official programs or events

Implementation and Responsibility

  • The Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Committee is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and periodic review of this policy.
  • All faculty, staff, and students share a collective responsibility to uphold and embody the values of diversity and inclusion in their interactions and decision-making.

Reporting and Grievance Process

Any instances of discrimination, harassment, exclusion, or policy violations should be reported promptly through:

  • Diversity & Inclusion Incident Report Form (available on the student/staff portal)
  • Direct contact with the Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

All reports will be handled confidentially and addressed promptly, in accordance with university grievance procedures.

Continuous Improvement

Central Global University will:

  • Conduct regular diversity climate surveys and feedback sessions
  • Organize workshops, seminars, and training to foster cultural competency and inclusive leadership
  • Periodically review institutional practices to ensure alignment with DEI standards
